During the session, the SUTEE team presented an overview of the project, highlighting its educational approach to urban environmental awareness through the use of IoT technology and real-time environmental data. The presentation also focused on the potential of digital technologies in agriculture, showing how sensor-based systems and data-driven strategies can help optimise crop management and resource use.

The lecture provided a space to exchange ideas with future agritech professionals and emphasized the value of interdisciplinary collaboration between the education and agricultural sectors. It also reinforced how the competences promoted by SUTEE—particularly those related to environmental responsibility and digital fluency—align closely with the challenges of today’s precision agriculture.

We thank the organisers for the invitation and look forward to continued synergies with academic programmes advancing sustainable agriculture through innovation.
