Urban Trees for Environmental Education with IoT Technology @ the Educational Innovation Conference

Last Monday, June 24, took place the Educational Innovation Conference organized at the School of Computer Systems Engineering. The aim of these conferences is to share innovative initiatives that teachers carry out in the classroom in order to find ways of collaboration that have a positive impact on students.

A presentation entitled “Urban Trees for Environmental Education with IoT Technology” was given at this conference. With this session, fundamental questions were raised among the faculty who attended, such as:

– What technology can we develop and put at the service of the entire educational community?
– How can we involve the students we have in our classrooms in this issue?

– How can we raise awareness of these challenges?

The colloquium served to underline the need to educate teachers and young people about the importance of the environmental fabric of dense metropolitan areas, both for human well-being and to address climate change.
