{"id":2020,"date":"2025-10-09T09:18:35","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T08:18:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sutee.eu\/?p=2020"},"modified":"2025-10-14T09:27:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T08:27:14","slug":"follow-up-visit-to-real-madrids-valdebebas-training-complex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sutee.eu\/index.php\/2025\/10\/09\/follow-up-visit-to-real-madrids-valdebebas-training-complex\/","title":{"rendered":"Follow-up visit to Real Madrid\u2019s Valdebebas training complex"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As a continuation of the collaborative discussions initiated earlier this year, members of the <strong>SUTEE team<\/strong> and students from <strong>Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid<\/strong> were invited to visit the <strong>Real Madrid training complex in Valdebebas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The visit offered a closer look at the <strong>club&#8217;s experimental turf management field<\/strong>, where staff explained in detail how they monitor and care for their professional-grade grass surfaces. In addition to the turf, the team had the chance to learn about the landscaped areas of the facility, where special attention is given to <strong>native species like the strawberry tree (madro\u00f1o)<\/strong>, a symbol of Madrid, as well as <strong>white and purple flowering plants<\/strong> representing the colors of the Real Madrid crest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This visit further deepened the dialogue on the educational potential of sports-environment intersections and how SUTEE\u2019s goals in environmental education through technology can align with Real Madrid\u2019s sustainability practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to extend our sincere thanks to <strong>Real Madrid<\/strong> for welcoming us once again.
