Our project was presented at the annual Eastern-Austrian Educators\u2019 Conference held in February 2025 at the University College of Teacher Education Vienna. The local SUTEE team gave both, a poster session and a full presentation to the audience. The one-day event covers teachers and teacher educators involved in research and development on different pedagogic topics. The participants come from the four large teacher education colleges in the region of Vienna and Lower Austria, but also from beyond.<\/p>

The attendees of the SUTEE presentation came from a variety of schooling backgrounds and types of school, including vocational schools, interested in environmental education. The programme also allowed for qualitative networking which led to interesting connections to other initiatives, like the CNL (CultureNature Literacy) project<\/a>. It was encouraging to see and hear that the SUTEE mission to educate school children and the wider public was shared by other related activities. This made for interesting exchanges of experiences and questions on methodology and target groups.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The poster session gave an overview of the project and its current status and progress made to date. The participants were invited to the forthcoming 3-day workshop in Vienna in May. This has been promoted as a hands-on practical event, where teachers engage in the creation of learning activities involving urban nature and technology.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
