In our small private online course (SPOC), one of the co-authors of the European Commission\u2019s Green Competences Framework<\/a>, Ms Ulrike Pisiotis, gave an insightful presentation of this important publication. Ms Pisiotis is an EC Policy Officer and Education Expert in Learning for Sustainability. Her presentation as well as the recorded talk can be accessed on the SUTEE\u2019s Moodle site<\/a>. To enrol for the first time in the course free of charge enter the code: SUTEE2024! <\/em><\/p>

The SUTEE project is helping to develop the GreenComp framework further for educational application by creating a merged approach with the well-known Digital Competences framework (DigComp 2.2). This allows to integrate the use of emerging technologies like Internet of Things (IoT) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) in environmental education. A first iteration of the generated SUTEE Competences framework can also be accessed in our Moodle course<\/a> (s. above).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In addition to the theoretical work underpinning educational goals in the area of environmental education, SUTEE also generates practical support for teachers and learners by developing with experts a number of exemplary learning activities that can be directly embedded in school teaching. These learning activities are largely built on inquiry-based learning approaches.
